It's Photos TIME!! =D

Started with count down in front of Pavillion for 2013
*observed half of the fireworks, blocked by tall building @.@*

Trip to Phuket + Krabi

View from bed in the room we rented in Krabi

First visit to Penang during CNY

Back from Summer Break, celebrated numerous birthdays with buddies in Neway Subang
It was a pretty tension time because one of the biggest assignments was due on the day after this
But still, we've enjoyed and made it through :-)
It was actual day of Alvin's birthday, everyone gets a slice as early celebration of our own birthdays

Tioman trip with buddies

Wine + Beer from duty free shop
I drank most of the wine in this bottle because some of them don't take alcohol

Joined Jeffrey's trip to hike the Broga Hill
He had been great guide to bring newbie (me) up to top of the hill
The breeze and view are spectacular until the sun climbs high

Trip to Penang (2nd time) and later to Koh Lipe
Snapped before the rain that ruined my walk to reach the beach area in Penang National Park
Luckily rainy season was gone the morning I departed to Thailand
View from room of resort in Koh Lipe
Going to Snorkelling on long boat (I guess that's the name haha)
Sunrise of the last day on the island

A journey to historical site, Georgetown of Penang
Didn't find all the mural though @.@

The making of joss stick in Georgetown

After finishing with the trip, I've taken up 1.5 months teaching position in my primary school
And also as photographer for events in the school including Children's day, Sports day, Hari Kantin, field trip and 2D1N trip to Kukup Island

Most cooperative, easy to teach class haha

Time for my Convo finally!! Big thank you to cousin brother being the photographer

It's last month of the year finally!!
First is the gathering with old buddies brunching at high class hotel

And lastly I was appointed for first time as photographer of my cousin's wedding dinner in Penang!
So excited and hopefully my work had met their expectation

It has been a fruitful year filled with happiness
Wish the next will be even better

Love the lyrics to max!
这一刻独自望着星空,从前的从前从没变过
那一年我們望著星空 有那麼多的 燦爛的夢
至少回憶會永久 像不變星空 陪著我

Exciting events of 2013

Last post of this year I supposed
Gotta say bye bye to 2013 and Hi to 2014
This has been a year full with events and new experiences
First of all had been several trips made with different bunches of people
Had my first trip to Thailand earlier of this year
First time I've been to Thailand, and we did all the planning
It was a little bit rushy as far as I can remembered but memorable especially it was my first time going on trip to island (Phuket) and snorkelling

And in that same long summer break prior to final semester of this degree
I spent last few days of Chinese New Year in Penang
My first time to travel so far in bus, for approximately 6 to 7 hours to this heaven for backpacker
*IMO la* haha
Due to my newbie-ness in that place, I was brought around to places with good food and views
Started to put my camera to real use
But mainly focused on views, Plants and Insects hahaha
Hence it served the purpose when I visit Penang Hill and Kek Lok Si having special lighting deco for CNY
I had kept them busy for around 2 or 3 days and that's it for my first visit =)

Then the semester started and ended, we were all very exciting about that
Finally we're done with this Degree (filled out 3 years life with assignments, reports, exams)
But not to forget fun + great people we met and shared memories with
Had short trip to Pulau Tioman with 4 buddies who were never absent throughout these 3 years
The trip had given us some unforgettable memories, especially with the changing of place to meet with people from resort that we had paid for
Got nervous for a whole day before beginning of the trip
Luckily it ended well with an add-on short stay where we were trapped in Mersing
*no bus back to KL*

Paid another visit to Heaven for backpacker again afterwards
but with a different purposes
First it was a pitstop for me before I meet up with fren to go on Koh Lipe trip
Second was to enjoy the place as a real random tourist
Familiarised myself with the route of buses as they were my main transportation to move from places to places
Visited few locations but trapped in da house with broken internet connection due to rainy season
*bad planning, forgotten about weather forecast*
Then had more shocking experiences when I headed to Thailand + to the Lipe Island
This was the longest trip, with highest numbers of shocking events and of course, most memorable
The ending of this trip was marked by attending my cousin sister's Convo in USM
Joined the family and share the joy =D

And then it was my Convo!
It was a rare chance for frens and buddies to fly from East M'sia and meet face to face again!
After we were parted when the trip ended
Had limited time to really have good long chat as each of us need to bring family members around
We treasured the moment by snapping more photos and clapping so hardly when each one spent about 10 seconds receiving the Degree from Chancellor of University
Hope the frenship can be long lasting as we wish it to ^^

And finally the Christmas Brunch Buffet with frens in Casa Del Rio
It was worth the experience, but we're not used to the food >.<
Most of the food served did not meet our taste *but sausage was damn delicious*
And wide variety of dessert
Favourite was self customized ice cream with toppings
Anyhow, we had good time chatting and laughing about those food and also the high class washroom
Come with daily newspapers pasted on wall and hand moisturiser, mouth wash and hand wash shampoos

Last, biggest event of the year and involved all closed relatives
Marriage of cousin brother
There were 2 dinners, first in Penang (again) and then in Malacca
It feels great to be able to help out in several events including some of the traditional ceremonies
First time I've seen 22 years old "kid" to jump on bed of this newly-wed couple hahaha
It was great to see things work out successfully and how cousins offered helping hands in times of need
Shall post some pictures captured during this trip to PG and dinner in both PG + Mlk
It was tiring to play multiple role and I've got 12 hours sleep as a reward for myself

Wish they live happy ever after as husband and wife and perhaps I can meet baby in future if I get the chance to visit them again? Hahaha
Great events, great time, great people, great life
Love this life I live in :-)

There's always a reason to smile, smile more to brighten up the day of urself and others

Now I shall live second life in dream for the day
*I'll add another post with photos from events listed here*

Overwhelmed!

Woosh! It's been a long time since I've ever been so busy
First there's the trip to Kukup with school kids
But they're hardly present when we (teachers + parents) were busy enjoying
They just hid in the room all the time (except teatime + lunch/dinner)
Hence, we threw away all the normal deeds of teachers and be as crazy + noisy as we could haha
It's funny though I get this chance to see how sampat my teachers can be
Sometimes even overheard their 黄色笑话 haha
Anyhow the place is suitable for whole family trip but not for long stay
Ideally 1 or 2 nights top, otherwise you'll start to feel boredom filling in and cant wait to leave the place >.<
Main hotspot apart from unique set up of houses on seawater, is the mangrove preservation forest
Found funny looking fishes (I called them legged-fishes coz they have a pair limbs look juz like legs) and single clawed crab...I can't stop wondering will ones die if he/she fall onto roots of mangroves facing upward like spike? Hmmm
That place will only consume short period of time, at most 2 hours
Then probably a tour to fish farm (tourguide will give some briefing on diff fishes) and the rest of time is spent buying local products (compare prices and qualities, although it's juz a small place but the diff can be seen if they're sold by diff shops)
And so, that is all of them! Remaining free time can be spent walking around the village, look at some magnificently big, huge houses built there (Some are damn big with 10+ air conditioners)
As well as to Sing K + play mahjong
I played with 2 teachers + 1 parent through the night, from 10pm to 9am of next day
Thus, I have no idea what happened in the bus otw back...

Yesterday pulak, I evolved into Super Prawn! hahaha
Intended to stay a night at cousin's place to attend job interview, but drove to Nilai without my formal clothes
Turned out I have to come back and only went for it super early this morning
A lesson learnt: Honesty won't work hahaha
Great experience though to feel nervous while waiting (waiting time is longer than the interview itself)
Cause many words juz couldn't come out of my mouth, they wandered around in the mind only >.<
Shall show more despo + excited look for next interview + talk more ^^
Since I've been to Sunway, how can I leave without visiting Bookalicious?! HAHAHA
And hence TADAAAAAA
Im so turning my room into library T.T

2 Free gifts from Bookalicious (being loyal customer throughout these years)

Christmas card from sb!! One more collectible hahaha
Ok happy winter solstice!! Super duper early for it haha

冲动!

Had a really motivating chat with a fren
to discover that all I've done so far was just THINK-ing on what to do
which means I have not completed the DO part of life
Coincided with recommendation from another fren
Finally I've sent out first resume in my life =)
Although its a really simple, bold and straight to the point one
with some newbie mistake made in the process
Hope the person in charge had an understanding heart towards newbie haha
Anyhow, I'm looking forward to the interview!

Most of the excitement part is caused by the chance to visit Big Bad Wolf
Have several titles to hunt for in the bookfair
And of all, I do hope to find several of them from the same series, so that I can complete them all at lower cost =D
Besides, It's not too bad to try newly discovered title there with RM8 each
Even if the book turns out to be not good in the end

Witnessed a pair of parents with interesting way of treating two daughters of theirs
Apparently, each parent favour different daughter, causing extremely different treatment during their visit
In the last visit, Parent B was in charge and hence Daughter B was treated like princess
She gets all the good stuff and cared for, all things that get into shopping bags belong to her
In the current visit, Parent A was in charge and hence it's Daughter A's turn to be the princess
Seems like karma always have the way to work things out
So in each visit, there's always a daughter whining for the unfairness while the other enjoy all possible fun
I wonder when will they be treated fair and square without a parent favouring only one of them

看看那是否有想象的唯美?
无论如何,重点不在于那结果的绚丽
而是陪你一起走过的旅伴

I'd go back to December all da time~~

Yesh! It's December, last month of the year!
It has always been most fun month and full with events
That is why I like it so damn much!
This year even has an extra event: Cousin's wedding =)
Too happy becoz I get to drive to Penang, for the first time ever!!
HAHA

It's good to have frens visiting Mlk all the time
It gives me the chance to enjoy all good foods here in one day
And it serves as a sorta revision for future fren visits
The thought of becoming tourguide is not bad afterall ^^

Phew had been busy the whole week dealing with books clearance and key in data of students
Most of the books were >30 years old
And I found my name in some of them!
Back then when I was in Primary school, I'm so 乖 to read story books >.<
Packed up to 12 boxes of books and sold them for recycling
Damn cool to see those boxes being thrown onto the lorry from 3rd floor O.O
They didn't have nice ending though, all sealed boxes were broken
Haizz 白费工夫 to seal them so sam-fu-ly
So, mission accomplished for now
Time to move on to next mission! =D

Found it from the drama :-)

Hmmm It's been an eventless week
Just doing stuff repeatedly and forgetting how fast the time flies
The end of 2013 is coming soon and there're alot of planning on going
such as short trip/visit to tourism hot spot, celebration of festivals and count down for new year
So much to anticipate for ^^

The opportunity is open again for longer time frame
Plus increment in the reward
Although not for long term planning, but I've been thinking whether I shall take it?
Or walk out of the comfort zone of doing the same thing again?
Like go out for more adventure as I'm still young =D

In the meantime of consideration, I'm currently killing time with READING!
Obviously to clear as much of the stocks as I can
It has been enjoyable for the week with progress of a hundred page a day =)
Maybe I shall add on to the list of things-to-try-out with the star snapping recommended
*But need to download an epi of drama series* (This is very odd to OCD)
But I'll do it when I'm ready to accept the act of downloading single epi of the drama haha

Watched a long anticipated movie yesterday night
Hunger Game: Catching Fire
I gotta say it's damn nice and surprising
Just when we thought the movie was coming to an end, that's when the game began
It's torturous to have to wait for 2 or 3 years more till the end of this series!!
Like other series, the last epi is divided into 2 parts (Its either the story is too long, or to make more money)
Compared to the first episode, which has much simpler storyline and complete game play
This episode is vaguely pointing out direction of the storyline in next episode
And of course to puts up factors involved in coming episodes as I've been told by fren who had peeked into the synopsis on wiki
Hence this episode is less action-packed, more story-telling to show us how the Revolution is starting, how the main character has played a role in it and how the people were influenced to overcome FEAR with HOPE

Addicted to them while reading :-)

We're all MONASH GRADUATESSSS

Four months didn't feel like a long time since we're done with the exams
But it's considered a long period of time since all of us had gathered in a single venue
We've finally been acknowledged for all hardworks and time spent typing in front of laptop, throughout the foundation year and 3 years of degree
I'm so glad we all have graduated together and had quite sufficient time to snap photos in the academic dress
=D
It was the first time I've snapped so many photos, although I'm not the photographer haha
First of all many many many thanks to this cousin brother who had been very helpful and warmth host when
My parents and I tumpang in his house (saved us the accommodation fees in hotel) plus being photographer of the day
Nah, this as a gift to repay ur kindness ^^

And of course thanks for all the time spent (plus "investment") provided by parents while I was enjoying in one of the most expensive cities (Sunway)
You two had been great for giving me supports during the hard time in my studies as well as HOME when I feel like taking a break from hectic stressful times

Wish I can repay more to you guyz in the future!!

On the morning of the day itself, I have bunch of friends who are as crazy as I am to wake up early in the morning and went to snap photos in the campus
Although we didn't have the academic dress collected yet but we still love it!!
Especially the jumping snap = )
Enjoying the new field *specially recommended by Anson*

First attempt *see the super-happy-justin*

Because the super-happy-justin is blocked here >.<
The successful snap!! YAY!

Next we're separated to prepare ourselves for the ceremony
I myself had a pretty busy noon with long queue at Sushi Zanmai and shopping for white collar shirt
Because I've left it back at Malacca T.T
Luckily It was not a tough task because we're in Sunway Pyramid, what else better to do than to shop here?
Changing in toilet of shopping complex feels just like what I've done during secondary school times
Not just  me, my mum also changed into her formal dress for the ceremony
I've got to say Sunway Resort Hotel is much more glamorous from inside compared to the outside
I barely noticed it until today >.<
*Is it my eyesight or it is really unnoticeable?*
Anyhow, I've met many Uni-mates in the hotel and snapped photos with most of them
Missed out some though
But no worries, we have had good times together =D
Jeff *stolen from his fb*

Seb, Zixin, Rach, Vivienne and Anson

Seb, Anson and Kai Xin
Yvonne Lim
One of the most important group photos ^^
Raymond

PK and PY

Flowers and dolls from families and specially from frens who were so nice to buy one for each of us
Certainly, this marks the end of one of the journeys in our lives, the one that we all shared together
I do hope we can have some annual events to gather again!!
And may we all had enjoyed companies of each other, the memories made and thrive in the future working
Hope to see you all again =)
